Learn More About New Patients at Orangeburg Dentistry

Yes! Orangeburg Dentistry accepts new patients and is often able to schedule appointments within a few weeks or even days. Your first visit will usually include an appointment with the doctor for a comprehensive exam and all necessary X-rays. During your new patient appointment, you can speak with our dentists about any specific trouble areas or concerns.

In the past, you may have been able to schedule your first appointment with a new dentist for just a dental cleaning. However, our dentists follow current standards in the dental field and all new patients receive a comprehensive oral examination and any necessary X-rays. This ensures that the dentist has a full and clear picture of your mouth and oral health before proceeding with care. If cleaning is the proper next course of treatment, appointments are often available on the same day.

We accept most traditional insurance plans. We are proudly in-network with BCBS of SC, Delta Dental Premier , United Concordia Elite Plus, AlwaysCare, Starmount, Unum Dental, and most United Healthcare, Metlife, GEHA, Guardian, Lincoln Financial, Connections Dental plans, and Liberty Dental Plans (Wellcare and Allwell Medicare Plans only). We are not accepting any new Medicaid patients.

Our dental team will gladly help you with an estimate of benefits before your treatment and with filing your insurance claim. If we are out-of-network for your insurance, we will help guide you in filing a claim. Patients are responsible for the difference between the insurance benefit and the cost of the procedure. Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
